Welcome to From Plate to Page

Are you:

  • a food blogger who has been blogging for a while and feels stuck in a creative rut?

  • happy with your writing but feel your photography needs work - or vice versa?

  • tired of attending traditional format conferences where you are one of dozens of bloggers simply listening and taking notes ?

If so, then From Plate to Page is what you need!

Sponsorship

“It was a pleasure to sponsor the 2011 Plate2Page Weimar workshop in Weimar, Germany with Jeanne,  Meeta and the team. The ladies were thoroughly professional and assisted us in promoting Irish food ingredients to foodies throughout Europe.”
Maeve Desmond,
International Communications Manager, Bord Bia

I cannot thank you enough for the opportunity to be a sponsor for the workshop

Plate to Page is the first workshop of its kind aimed primarily at food bloggers, writers and photographers. Our exclusive 2.5 day residential programmes cover basic and advanced food styling and photography as well as writing skills and voice through practical exercises such as cooking workshops, market visits and hands-on assignments. The workshops are led by four of Europe's most popular and respected food bloggers and freelance writers/photographers, each an experienced teacher and speaker with a wide and international following. The first workshop took place in Weimar, Germany, in May 2011 and sold out completely, with participants coming from Europe, Canada, the USA and South Africa. Similar success followed with our second workshop in Tuscany, Italy in October 2011, and the third in Somerset, England in May 2012.  The workshops will take place at least once a year going forward.

Food blogging has become an international phenomenon and the authors of food blogs make excellent brand ambassadors. An integral part of the workshops is photographing and documenting food-related activities, and there is obvious potential for exposure for sponsored products, both on participants’ and instructors’ blogs.  This potential has been recognised by the sponsors of the various Plate to Page workshops, including Bord Bia (the Irish Food Board), Wines of South AfricaOXOErgo Chef KnivesProkit UKHotel ChocolatGeorges Larnicol, Zwilling J A Henckel, Bisol prosecco, Taste of Home, Gourmelli, Peppadew and many others.

We have a range of sponsorship packages available to suit all marketing budgets for the Ireland workshop in May 2013. We believe that being a Plate to Page sponsor could offer a company a unique marketing opportunity, and we are always happy to discuss innovative ways of creating mutual benefit for ourselves and our sponsors.

Please contact us to see how we can help each other.
