Plate to Page Tuscany, October 2011 (closed)

The From Plate to Page Tuscany workshop took place in Pistoia, Tuscany from 28-30 October.  Registrations are closed for this workshop as we have filled all our 10 places.  But please keep an eye on this space as we might have a surprise up our sleeves.
Once again, the workshop will take place over 2.5 days and will include presentations, hands-on workshops, individual guidance from the presenters, and communal cooking and living.  We also have a treat in store for applicants in the form of a visit to a local Tuscan vineyard - a wonderful writing and photo opportunity. The total cost includes accommodation for three nights and all meals (but excluding transport to and from Il Salicone).

Pistoia itself is a fascinating medieval city a with a beautiful Piazza del Duomo. Small ancient streets and medieval towers and palaces provide the perfect backdrop for your experience of Tuscan food, scenery and culture.  About 30 minutes drive from the villa is Florence, home to Michelangelo’s famous statue of David, the magnificent Duomo and Giotto Belltower, elegant reinassance palaces, and the treasures of the Uffizi Museum.
